What started as a casual start-of-summer garden party turned into one of the sweetest surprises we’ve had the joy of capturing. Carla and John invited their closest family and friends for an afternoon gathering, where many suspected an engagement announcement was coming. But the surprise went far beyond that—guests were overjoyed to learn that not only were Carla and John engaged, they would be saying “I do” right then and there!
The joy and emotion were palpable as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by stunned (and thrilled) loved ones. It was a beautiful, intimate celebration full of laughter, happy tears, and the heartfelt blending of two families. The relaxed garden setting, the element of surprise, and the genuine love between Carla and John made this afternoon one we won’t soon forget. It was a perfect reminder that sometimes, the most meaningful moments are the ones that catch us completely by surprise.
